6. Details about the Schemes / Programmes
taken by govt. in education sector in the Dist.
The Computer education has been launched in the dist. At present construction of computer building has been started at Govt Boys’ HSS, Dhubri providing 50 Nos. of computer sets for school children under the 11th Finance Commission Awards for the at the construction cost of building to the tune of Rs. 10.00 Lakh (Rupees ten lakh) only. The computers will be installed by the AMTRON.
On the other hand, the NEC Shillong has provided computer sets.
