The Rajiv Gandhi Computer Literacy Programme (RGCLP)
The first major IT Initiative of the Government of Assam

RGCLP - is a unique educational venture which intends to carry forward the vision of Government of Assam to "build a computer literate Assam" by harnessing the potential of IT in improving the quality of services to citizens, Govt. has initiated the Rajiv Gandhi Computer Literacy Programme to impart computer education in the State's Government Higher Secondary Schools. The Planning and Development Department and AMTRON, the State Nodaol Agency for Information Technology have embarked on this ambitious project of providing computer education, free of cost, to the students. Under This Project 10 Numbers of Higher Secondary Schools have been selected in two phases each. They are
