Asom Sarba Siksha Abhijan Mission implements “Smart School Program” - an innovative program on computer aided learning with the primary aim to harness the power of Information Technology for improving the ‘teaching-learning' process for the children in the upper-primary schools.

This futuristic techie ‘teaching-learning' strategic educational system is a multimedia based curriculum for students of classes V and VI. Identified difficult areas of the syllabus of Science, Mathematics and English are displayed with graphic images, sound and in some cases video clips in 3 languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali and Bodo.

The Smart School Program under Axom Sarba Siksha Abhijan was launched on 24th February 2004 along with other parts of Assam . This scheme has been implemented in 25 Numbers of schools in the district. They are :
